Ri-Industries, a leading pre-cast concrete manufacturer in South Australia, is pleased to announce the promotion of Ivan Sayers to the role of General Manager.
Online PR News – 02-December-2012 – Angle Park, South Australia – With 20 years of experience in the precast concrete industry, Mr Sayers has served Ri-Industries as Production Manager for the past 10 years. In his new role, he will assist Managing Director Graham Garvie by overseeing day-to-day operations of the company.
Graham Garvie, Managing Director of Ri-Industries said, “During his time with our company, Ivan has proven himself to be an outstanding employee, and his skills and knowledge of our company make him the natural choice for this new role. Making this change in our management team will allow me to focus on the financial leadership of our organisation, as well as on special projects, which have been so important to our company during this time of economic difficulty.”
Ri-Industries recently obtained SAI Global certification for their Ri-Treat waste water treatment systems, a distinction which has earned them significant attention in the industry. In addition, despite the down-turn in the housing market, Ri-Industries has remained strong. The company credits their resilience in part to their diversification as a pre-cast concrete manufacturer and to working on special projects in the region. Three of these projects include high-profile contracts worth $2.2m:
• Providing abutment retaining walls for the South Road Superway.
• Providing precast concrete parapets to all the bridges for the Southern Expressway.
• Providing precast concrete parapets to the bridge for the McLaren Vale Overpass.
