Floating Leaf will be a one-of-a-kind Bali eco retreat featuring both culture and comfort. The villas are scheduled to open in September, 2013. Those interested in bringing a group to Bali are urged to contact Floating Leaf to plan their visit.
Online PR News – 24-November-2012 – Bali, Indonesia, November 25th, 2012 – The newly designed Bali villas of Floating Leaf will merge traditional Balinese wisdom and culture with eco-friendly, modern luxury. With great respect for Balinese custom, Floating Leaf has chosen to use renewable materials and local craftsmanship to build luxury villas in the Ketewel area of Bali, Indonesia. After numerous meetings with local leaders, blessings from high-level holy men and ceremonial offerings to appease the spirits, Floating Leaf is ready to break ground on this exciting venture.
The proprietors are no new-comers to Bali. Maryam Putu Doliveck is of Balinese royal descent while Professor Michael Doliveck has been visiting Bali for over twenty years. Together they have been providing custom cultural excursions of Bali under the name of Balifornian Tours. Because of their intimate connection to the island, Balifornian takes participants to rare ceremonies and rituals that most tourists never see. Their tours are custom and allow no more than twelve participants.
Floating Leaf Eco Retreat will incorporate the Balifornian guided tours into its guest packages. Guests will not only have the opportunity to stay in the well-appointed luxurious villas with its open air yoga studio, state of the art spa, organic permaculture garden, café with delicious food choices and the ultimate relaxation pool, but they will have access to everything Balifornian has provided its participants for years. They’ll have the opportunity to snorkel among the most amazing reefs in the world and be connected with world-renowned healers, chefs, art teachers and yoga instructors. If guests surf, they’ll be taken to uncrowded surf breaks. They’ll have access to Bali’s beautiful beaches. They’ll witness profound ceremonies and experience ancient customs. Connecting visitors to the fascinating culture and wonderful people of Bali will remain a priority for Floating Leaf.
The villas are expected to open in September, 2013. Yoga teachers, chefs, photographers, surfers, wellness practitioners and instructors of any kind are all encouraged to contact Floating Leaf to become a group tour organizer and receive discounts for their stay at Floating Leaf Eco Retreat.
