BMW Motorrad also released a teaser sketch of the bare motorcycle.
The bike is to arrive at the beginning of 2013.
BMW Motorrad will also release three additional special editions of current BMW R 1200 models in celebration of its 90 years, each exhibiting categories in which BMW leads.
