Polymet's POLYSTEL Products are StelliteĀ® Equivalent in Composition but Superior in Quality and Performance

Online PR News – 21-November-2012 – Cincinnati, OH – Polymet Corporation, a leading manufacturer of wire for hardfacing, welding, and thermal spraying, is now stocking their StelliteĀ® equivalent material, POLYSTEL, in rod and MIG wire form. POLYSTEL is part of Polymetā€™s industrial hardfacing and welding product line and is StelliteĀ® equivalent in composition but superior in quality and performance.

Polymetā€™s core business is small diameter, solid wire, including POLYSTEL products. However, after streamlining their industrial product line, Polymet is now stocking POLYSTEL in both cast rod and cored MIG wire form. The rod products can be purchased bare or coated and they are standard 1 meter lengths. The cored MIG wire for GMAW and SMAW is available on spools and wire baskets.

POLYSTEL is available in the equivalent to StelliteĀ® 1, StelliteĀ® 6, StelliteĀ® 12, and StelliteĀ® 21. The rod products have diameters of .125ā€, .156ā€, and .197ā€. The cored MIG wire is available in .045ā€ and .062ā€ diameters.
