7String Comic Creator Nich Angell Becomes First of Few Brits on Kickstarter

Following a recent publishing deal with Canadian publisher Zeta Comics, Nich Angell - artist and writer of musical graphic novel 7String - has become one of a handful of British people to launch a Kickstarter campaign, to fund the second instalment of his book.

Online PR News – 21-November-2012 – Salisbury, Wiltshire – 7String Volume 1 has already received rave reviews from peers and critics alike, likening the musical universe and manga-european art style to Star Wars crossed with Guitar Hero, and Avatar the Last Airbender crossed with Jet Set Radio.

Now the Salisbury-based creator is hoping to continue the success of the first book by appealing for fans worldwide to collectively donate £10,000 to fund the making of Volume 2.

Kickstarter only opened its doors to UK projects in early November, and so Nich is hoping to be one of the first few comic creators in the country to successfully achieve his target goal before the month-long opportunity closes on 9th December.

Nich is available for interview. All media enquiries may email nichangell@hotmail.co.uk

About Kickstarter
Kickstarter is a crowd-funding website that can be used to gather any sum of money to fund a range of projects and products.
Kickstarter only opened its doors to UK-based projects in November 2012. Previously it was primarily for projects in America.
Funding is normally open for 1 or 2 months, and curators are able to set their own target amounts. If they fail to reach that amount, the project is not funded and nobody is charged. If the project surpasses its target, there is no ceiling on how much can be raised in the time limit.
