Kolmac Clinic and Crossroads Centers Merge

The Kolmac Clinic is pleased to announce the acquisition of Crossroads Centers, an outpatient addiction treatment program operating in Baltimore City and Woodlawn.

The Kolmac Clinic is pleased to announce the acquisition of Crossroads Centers, an outpatient addiction treatment program operating in Baltimore City and Woodlawn. The merger has taken place officially on November 5, 2012, when operation is continued as the Kolmac Clinic.

The Kolmac Clinic is looking forward to the exciting opportunity to carry on Crossroad’s Professional Rehabilitation Outpatient Program, which will be renamed the Crossroads Professional Rehabilitation Outpatient Program at Kolmac. For over 15 years, Crossroads has specialized in the treatment of licensed professionals on an outpatient basis. The Kolmac Clinic looks to maintain this excellent record of treatment when the professionals program is transferred to the Kolmac Clinic’s Baltimore office. Kolmac will continue to offer the services put in place by Crossroads, including convenient day and evening groups, close coordination with referring community professionals and licensing boards and random urinalysis. Community recovery support groups will remain an expectation for patients to attend.

The Chief Executive Officer of Crossroads, Barbara McKenna, will become a Kolmac employee and serve as its Director of Community Relations. Crossroads Centers Chief Operating Officer, Barbara Bluestone, will continue with the Kolmac Clinic in a consulting role.

The combined program will continue to offer:
• Ambulatory detoxification
• Adult intensive outpatient treatment
• Continuing care/relapse prevention groups
• Family support groups

Additionally, Kolmac Clinic will expand services in its downtown Baltimore office, located at 1 North Charles Street, to include:
• DUI/DWI programs
• Saturday continuing care group
• Daytime IOP program
• Intensive outpatient program for healthcare professionals

Crossroads patients will transition to Kolmac Clinic locations beginning November 5. All existing phone numbers can continue to be used to contact us.
