Locrot Publishing recent release of “Celebrating Our Youth” reveals the phenomenal talent of a group of young writers with exceptional ability. Best described as a book of short stories of whimsical delight.

Online PR News – 10-November-2012 – Bethlehem, PA – – Locrot Publishing recently published “Celebrating Our Youth” by Sandra Cole. The book celebrates young writers by showcasing their work, and it provides a reminder to adults to continue to praise, encourage, and nurture our youth. The book features short stories written by writers who are between the ages of 12-17, from across the United States. The writers featured in the book are Andorra Bastien, Aaliyah Sesay, Gabby Torrence, Michael Cole, and Brandon Dunlap. The writers were chosen out of a large pool of students, who all displayed phenomenal talent. The young writers also learned some valuable skills in the process.

“We are so proud of these students. To watch their creativity flow into the final product was absolutely amazing. There was a metamorphosis that took place within each writer as they penned their short story. Estuary Bridging the Divide launched this initiative three years ago, and will continue to support writers who have the desire to become published authors. Young writers can register at our website, and we will provide them with the details. It has also provided an opportunity for the average kid to realize their own capabilities. The writers were responsible for meeting deadlines, re-writes, and managing their deliverables. One of the writers didn’t have a computer, and wrote the entire story by hand.
I encourage parents, guardians, and teachers to tap into the minds of their children. You just never know what they're capable of until you present the opportunity to them. This is a major accomplishment for these writers, and they should be very proud of themselves. I encourage all parents to purchase the book for their families, so that the entire family can see what other kids are doing. We have to continue to build a nation of bright, confident people, and it starts with our youth".
