Equatorial Guinea Girls Keep the Rhythm with 'Beats by Dre'

The Equatorial Guinea Girls advance to the finals of the 8th Edition of the African Cup of Nations.

The girls play South Africa on November 11 in the New Stadium of Malabo for the championship match.

The girls beat Cameroon yesterday with a score of 2-0, with one of those goals scored by Ayonman. The team played a well-rounded game. Genoveva “The Amazing” Ayonman, captain, showed leadership on the field for Equatorial Guinea. Playing with the hallmarks of a heroine, she controlled the tempo of the game. Ayonman is now the top scorer of the tournament.

After discovering her love of the beautiful game at the tender age of five, her future is destine for more accolades. Some say that Ayonman may well have inherited her talent from her father, who was a footballer himself and often took his daughter along to training sessions.

"Football is a very special part of my life, so I always want to give my best”, said Ayonman. With Ayonman leading the line, the future certainly looks bright for Equatorial Guinea.

Last Sunday, at the Hotel Sofitel of Sipopo, a special homage took place for the Equatorial Guinea Girls, by the company Punto Azul. In that event, the company gave the players of the football team some fantastic headphones "Beats by Dre", in appreciation and support for their great sport work. The players are receiving the gratitude that the whole country feels towards them for their magnificent performance at the CAN 2012.
