Nick Cooney, Abuse Animals Benefit from Chicago Walk for Animals

Nick Cooney of The Humane League organizes a Walk to protect abused animals.

Online PR News – 08-November-2012 – Chicago, IL – Chicago, IL - Nick Cooney and The Humane League, an animal advocacy organization based in Philadelphia, PA that focuses on farm animal protection issues, hosted a day of fundraising and fun on Sunday, August,26th 2012 at Lincoln Park (Grove 13), in Chicago. The Chicago Walk for Animals event was a great success.

Each walker was provided with a personal fundraising page and sponsor packet to accept pledges from friends, family, and co-workers who wished to support their walk. All Donations went to The Humane League's work to rescue animals and educate the public on compassionate lifestyle choices.

Over 300 people took part in The Humane League's recent Philadelphia and New York Walks For Animals (thanks to all who did), and they are planning the Second Annual Boston Walk For Animals will be back again this fall.
