Marketing consultant Jo Macdermott, head of Next Marketing, received the award at a luncheon held at the RACV Club on September 21st. The Australian Marketing Institute’s Awards for Marketing Excellence program is held annually and aims to recognise marketers and marketing organisations who have shown innovation and outstanding success.
Fenix Restaurant and Events approached Next Marketing for help with their general marketing in 2011 and Next Marketing recommended a series of steps to increase their visibility and appeal at the Melbourne Australian Bridal Service expo held in August 2011.
Overall the bridal expo was judged the most successful ever in the company’s ten year history. Next Marketing’s award winning campaign delivered a ROI of 1759% and was executed in just six weeks. By helping Fenix come up with an imaginative and creative way to expand their bridal business, Next Marketing managed to increase sales by 266% and provide the company with future leveraging opportunities.
