Online PR News – 31-October-2012 – Red Bank, NJ – Riverview Medical Center proudly welcomes Monica Mishra, M.D. to its medical staff. Dr. Mishra specializes in Radiology and is fellowship-trained in Women’s Imaging.

Dr. Mishra most recently completed her fellowship training in Women’s Imaging at Moffitt-Long Hospital/San Francisco General Hospital at the University of California in San Francisco. Dr. Mishra began her studies at Monmouth University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology and received her medical degree from the UMDNJ- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.

Dr. Mishra’s post-medical school training included an internship in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, as well as residency training in diagnostic radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital – an affiliate of North-Shore Long Island Jewish Health System – in New York, where she held the title of chief radiology resident.

Dr. Mishra has made many presentations and has been honored for numerous awards throughout her schooling, including receiving the RSNA Resident Research Award of the Year 2010, sponsored by the Sigma Xi International Research Society for research project on “Androgen Regulation of RBD-1 mRNA Expression in the Rat Epididymis.”
