Online PR News – 29-October-2012 – Your Perth, WA – Your Perth, WA, Australia, October 29, 2012 -- Darren Lee, a lawyer who previously worked as a nightclub bouncer for over a decade has released a new book intended to educate bouncers on skills they can develop to handle confrontational situations with the use of little or no physical force.
Lee has observed a significant increase in violence in his home nightclub district of Northbridge, Perth over the last ten years as a result of
increased drug use and complacency with binge drinking. He believes that club bouncers are struggling in their role of reducing nightlife violence and often unintentionally aggravate confrontational situations due to a lack of education on how to handle such situations.
In his newly released book, 101 Tips on How to Be a Bouncer: Techniques to Handle Situations Without Violence, Lee places a strong emphasis on preventative methods bouncers can use to stop situations from escalating and how to use one's environment and verbal techniques to handle confrontational situations.
Lee encourages security companies and club managers to promote this book to their security staff in the hope that it will inspire them to develop their skills in resolving confrontational situations without violence.
