Online PR News – 29-October-2012 – Boca Raton – "Boca Raton, Florida—have you ever been at the beach or in a park and became hungry? You don’t want to leave your spot but you need to go get food. Now you can stay put! An application has been developed that allows hungry consumers to use their smart phone or laptop to have food delivered right to their exact location, without a street address.

This exciting new application, called FoodOozle, uses GPS to locate the source of the food order and bring it to that precise spot.

Developed by a couple who reside in Deerfield Beach, Florida, the website and application have just been launched. Flavia and Andre Melo were inspired to create this capability one day when they were at the beach playing volleyball and neither of them wanted to leave to get food.

“Today’s world is more about convenience than ever before,” states Andre. “Our time is precious and we need that time to enjoy our lives when we are not working. Getting food should be a fast, easy process. We’ve now provided the quickest way to have food delivered—with just a few clicks. No more calling and being put on hold.”

As FoodOozle moves forward with their expansion plans, they approach restaurants and eateries in various South Florida towns to add them to the FoodOozle website. Complete menus are posted so that consumers can browse menu items and click on the items they want to order. Accuracy is ensured, unlike verbal orders placed over the phone. If a restaurant does not currently have delivery capability, FoodOozle provides a delivery network for them to use.

“Imagine being at the beach with your friends and ordering some wings and a pizza, and having the delivery person show up there, bringing it right to you,” Flavia explains with enthusiasm. “How cool is that?!”

You can also have food delivered to your home or office, or order takeout using the service. The service is already in place in Boca Raton, and soon will be available in Deerfield Beach and Delray Beach. By the end of 2012, FoodOozle will be available throughout South Florida, from Miami to West Palm Beach.

Extensive research and development went into the production of the website and application. FoodOozle is an extremely customer-oriented company and encourages users (called “Foodzies”) to provide “foodback” about the service.

“We know there may be a few kinks to work out along the way. But everyone we have consulted with agrees that this is a valuable service for busy residents and visitors in South Florida, especially those who are technology oriented. It costs consumers nothing to use the service and the restaurants pay nothing to sign up. It is truly a win-win,” Flavia finishes. Watch for FoodOozle coming soon to your area.
