Online PR News – 27-October-2012 – Sacramento, CA – In a newly released blog article Sacramento Movers discussed some resourceful recommendations for making Halloween costumes out of packaging supplies and common household gadgets. Not only did they present interesting DIY options, but all of them can be created using things around the home or available to purchase at low costs: packing supplies! Using cardboard cartons, bubble wrap and a little paint it is possible to create some of the greatest Halloween costumes.
Lego Block. Take a card board carton and glue or duct tape onto the front side disposable drink cups. Arrange two rows of cups so that they make even ridges similar to a Lego block. Spray paint the whole container in a vibrant color such as red, blue, green, or yellow. Don’t forget to cut holes for arms, head and legs. Wear matching long sleeves and trousers underneath.
Facebook Page. Take a big flat portion of card board and paint it white. Draw the outline of a Facebook profile page including the status update box, several wall posts, and maybe a Farmville update. Use markers to shade in detail on the web page. Cut a hole where the user profile picture would go. Then just hold up this “page” so that the profile image cut-out goes right around the person’s face.
Bubble Wrap Snowman. For this costume, all that is needed is a good deal of bubble wrap. Basically wrap bubble wrap around the person numerous times until eventually they look wintry and plump. Use a marker to draw buttons on the torso. Wear a top hat and scarf and carry a broom. Even Frosty the Snowman would be very pleased to wear this costume!
