Online PR News – 23-October-2012 – Middlesex – Co-founder of music distribution website Songeist.com, Raquel Peralta got an exclusive interview with singer/songwriter Sam Monaghan. The music website supports new music and new bands and, when the final site is launched, will enable users to listen to music, download music, and listen to legal audio samples. It’s going to be a whole new world of music distribution! Artists can learn how to promote a band while fans can download music from new bands. It’s a head above all the other music websites! It is also an active and lively music community where everyone’s voice can be heard, whether they are an artist or a fan.
The boy knows harmony and can definitely singe says Raquel. Clearly Sam knows how to work his voice and incorporate very interesting melodic structure---longing, promising and endearingly innocent. As he develops his concept more fluidly, we will be seeing some great things from Sam Monaghan. He is himself, naturally, revealing his inner talent, still taking risks with bmp and unexpected harmonic resolves. Let’s be real, nothing can stop a man with some pipes and a guitar.
Music is something that has been a part of my life for pretty much as long as I can remember said Sam. Be that playing it or just listening to it. I love to listen to music. I've always found listening to music very exciting, I'll never forget my dad giving me a copy of Guns 'N' Roses' 'Appetite For Destruction' when I was a kid - I sat on my bed and listened to it until I had every word of every song memorised because it just blew me away; that voice and those grinding guitars combined into something that was completely new for me. After that initial introduction, music became like a very close friend and it's stayed that way pretty much ever since.
You can read the full interview on the Songeist.com blog which features new bands, new music and acts as a conversation spur for the music community.
