Online PR News – 23-October-2012 – Big Lake, Minnesota – Barefoot Bath & Body (, in association with The Artisan Group, will participate in the official celebrity gift lounge in honor of the 46th Annual CMA Awards on October 29 – November 1, 2012 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Barefoot Bath & Body’s Margarita, Country Christmas, The Wild One, Juniper and Crushed shea butter soap bars will be showcased on display at The Artisan Group’s exhibit and its Wide Open Sky, Crushed, Country Christmas or Margarita soap bars and Margarita Lip Balms will be gifted to the biggest names in Country Music backstage at The CMA Awards. The event will also be attended by over 25 media and press outlets.

Barefoot Bath & Body, located in Big Lake, Minnesota, is owned by artisan soap maker Deanna Crowe. The company specializes in hot and cold process soaps and glycerin soaps, lip/body balms and teacup candles, all with a fresh, slightly vintage appeal.

“For this gifting, I chose soap bars with time-of-year scents that appeal to both men and women,” said Crowe. “One of my favorites is "Crushed." This is a generously sized, rustic bar that reminds me of fall. It has an attractive swirl pattern of clear, bright orange, brown and white. Orange essential oils and pure natural vanilla plus mica infused sunflower oil make this a luxuriant yet comfy soap experience.”

Getting ready for the Awards proved that the Barefoot soap kitchen has not only mastered creating delightful bath and body products but is incredibly efficient. While handling the usual online and wholesale orders, Crowe also found time to prepare, cure and package (with an introductory Hello card) almost 100 soap bars plus the same number of lip balms. “The fact that Barefoot Bath & Body was chosen for this opportunity is an honor,” smiled Crowe. “The selection process was a nail-biter and preparing and packaging the soaps and balms was hard work, but it’s definitely been worth it in terms of exposure for my company.”

Barefoot Bath & Body products are a popular choice for celebrity gifting and have been at GBK's Luxury Gift Lounges for the Golden Globes and the Primetime Emmys this year. They have also been gifted to Suri Cruise and HGTV’s Cari Cucksey. Since Deanna has a soft spot for country music, from Johnny Cash to Carrie Underwood and The Band Perry, the chance to present her bath and spa products to the stars at The 46th Annual CMA Awards has been one of the year's highlights.

A veteran of celebrity gifting, Crowe noted that this type of project is a bit of a roller coaster. “There is a good deal of intense work and then a whole lot of wait and see. I’m always confident that recipients will enjoy Barefoot’s fabulous products even if I don’t hear from them, but I do enjoy it when we get a personal response regarding the product, like when I got a tweet from Cari Cucksey that she loved my tea cup candle.”

Barefoot Bath & Body is available at the Barefoot Bath & Body website ( and in brick and mortar locations, including Krista Artista Gallery in downtown Anoka, Minnesota and Northern Brights in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
