Metal clay is exactly what is sounds like: metal in sculptable clay form. Learn how to make your own custom charms and pendants! Gogoshebogo design offers a variety of DIY jewelry-making classes for new and experienced jewelry designers and crafters in the Spokane area.
Online PR News – 18-October-2012 – Spokane, Washington – Spokane area artists and crafters have a new medium to explore: metal clay! Unlike Art Clay Silver and PMC, copper and bronze metal clays are affordable and fun to experiment with. Learn how to sculpt metal with your bare hands! At gogoshebogo design, all the tools, supplies and clay is provided. Students just need to be prepared to have fun! Classes generally meet twice: in the first session, students learn to mix and work with metal clay to create several charms or pendants. Then, the instructor kiln fires the pieces. In the second session, students polish and finish their fired pieces, possibly turning them into wearable jewelry, or taking them home to incorporate into other jewelry projects.
