Finalists were announced today of the second annual British-Swiss Business Awards.
Online PR News – 17-October-2012 – Zurich, Switzerland – Finalists were announced today of the second annual British-Swiss Business Awards. 12 innovative and successful public and private sector companies in the British-Swiss business community are being recognised for the outstanding contributions they have made to bilateral trade and investment between the UK and Switzerland.
The quality of the entrants was extremely high and the short-listed nominees reflect the wide range of successful ventures across the British-Swiss business community - from small start-ups and individual entrepreneurs to long-established businesses.
“Success in the current harsh economic environment does not come easily and requires dedication, creativity, innovation and sheer hard work. The winning entries across the four Awards categories all display a client-centric, socially sensitive philosophy, backed by a clear strategy and vision. Finalists include both small 1 or 2 person start-ups, as well as sophisticated solutions from well-established, world-class companies. All have had to respond to changing customer behaviour, social priorities and the economic outlook. The British-Swiss Business Awards serve to recognise those companies and individuals who have been able to adapt to this environment and win market share and recognition in their field of activity” said Carolyn Helbling, Managing Director of the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, organisers of this event.
