Church of Scientology Helps Artists Broaden Outreach

Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre Nashville to host music seminar with singer/songwriter Deedee O’Malley on October 20th.

Online PR News – 10-October-2012 – Nashville, TN – “Churches are spiritual places. Artists are people who imbue life and creativity into the culture. It makes sense that church should be a place for artists to become invigorated and uplifted, and that’s exactly what our church is all about,” says Rev. Brian Fesler, Pastor of the Church of Scientology in Nashville.

That’s why the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre Nashville plans to host two seminars with Deedee O’Malley, a successful singer and songwriter on October 20th. “The seminars are all about helping artists and musicians reach their potential,” continued Fesler.

Fesler says that not only is it part of the mission of the Church of Scientology & Celebrity Centre Nashville to help the artist, but that Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard “often wrote about the importance of the artist in society. The artist leads us into the future with vision and dreams.”

O’Malley’s first seminar will be “How to Get Exposure and Be Seen Above the Competition” and will cover getting the work needed to survive as an artist, getting the venues an artist needs and powering through mental blocks or past criticism. This seminar will begin at 10am on October 20th.

Her second seminar will take place the same day, at 1pm, on the topic of “How to Get Noticed and Make Money with Your Music.” She plans to detail information on the administrative side of the music business, how to promote one’s work and how to get work as a singer/songwriter.

Both seminars will take place in the community room at the Church of Scientology at 1130 8th Avenue South.

The seminars are open to the public. To RSVP or learn more about the Church’s artist seminars, contact Julie Brinker at 615-687-4600. For more information on Scientology, visit www.scientology.org.
