Enabling consumers to buy food at wholesale prices

Online PR News – 22-March-2010 – – Puyallup, WA ( Onlineprnews ) March 22, 2010 - During these recessive Experience Church.tv recognizes that people are looking for ways to make their dollars stretch further. Experience Church.tv, a recognized leader in helping churches integrate technology to better convey their message, is reaching out deeper into their community. Dennis Cummins the Senior Pastor at Experience Church.tv, said that the quality of food offered by Angel Food Ministries is simply outstanding. “We are proud to partner with such a great company and know that we can promote their food with confidence. Not only is the quality of the food outstanding but the prices are amazingly refreshing,” he said “We order from Angel Food Ministries and have found that it is really easy to feed our family of five and have saved a lot of money in the process.”

Doug Vieselmeyer the Director of the food ministry at Experience Church.tv has witnessed first hand the impact that this ministry is having on families. “It is exciting to see this ministry grow every month,” he said “People are realizing how they can save money in their monthly food budget and better use that money elsewhere.” “Typically one signature box of food assists in feeding a family of four for about a week. The food is all high quality food that one could purchase at their local grocery store. There is no dented cans or out of date food. It is all high quality food that will meet or exceed peoples expectation.”

On the last Saturday of the Month Experience Church sets up to prepare to receive its shipment of food. With a small army of volunteers they gather together and distribute the food to stations throughout. When everything is prepared and the doors are opened people are greeted and receive their order sheet. They are accompanied by a personal shopper that takes them through the stations filling their order and then whisks them out to their car. “People are really surprise how easy and convenient it is to come and pick up their food. It is an intentional process that gives us an opportunity to meet with those that come in our door,” said Dennis Cummins (http://www.denniscummins.me). “My father told me that ‘People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.’ And this has stuck with me ever since. A lot of people are hurting (http://www.experiencechurch.tv/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=138:help-i-cant-take-the-pressure&catid=44:blogs) and we want to be a place where they can find hope and healing for their lives and Angel Food Ministries is a great opportunity for us to expand out outreach.”

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 44 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.
