The company works in the field of e-commerce, financial services, retail, and hospitality industries and works to build the loyalty and relationship between customers and businesses.

Upshaw will remain in his current position as the CEO of Affinion International, as well as take on his new duties. In his new position, he will report to the CEO and Chairman of Affinion Group, Nathanial Lipman. Lipman is the former President of Affinion Group.
Several of the senior management staff will fulfill their current roles, and they will continue to report to Lipman. The list includes:

· Chief Financial Officer Todd Siegel
· Chief Operating Officer Bob Rooney

Upshaw has been able to enhance the financial and competitive positioning of Affinion using his vision and leadership skills. According to Lipman, the senior management staff of Ciriello, Rooney, Rusin, Siegel, and Upshaw have a combined set of skills and strengths that will push the company forward. Between them, the entire group has 50 years of combined experience with the company.
The promotion for Upshaw is based on the company’s hope to expand upon the experience of the entire leadership team. It should also allow Affinion to focus on new business areas that can move the company ahead and improve on profits.
Upshaw has been the CEO of Affinion International since 2005, and he has been with the company since 1995. While working with Affinion International, he was able to boost the total sales by over a third. Upshaw also was able to diversify the revenue portfolio of that branch of the company and increase profitability at the same time. He launched several new retail programs, expanding the geographic area of the branch and including 600,000 subscribers.
In his new position, Upshaw will work out of the company headquarters in Connecticut. His new duties will include customer service and general administration, billing, data security, and information technology. He will also oversee all the overall operations and systems for the company.
