PSAT Prep Course Now Offered at Half Price Price in Time for October 2012 Test

College Planning Specialists-Illinois has reduced their PSAT Test Prep Course price to $100 to help students score higher and qualify for more scholarship money.

Online PR News – 02-October-2012 – Antioch, Illinois – High school juniors will begin taking the tests that will effect their admission into college and the financial aid that they will receive. The first of these will be the PSAT/NMSQT that will be on October 17th or October 20th, 2012. For those who are new to the college bound acronyns this stands for Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/ National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. This is the test that qualifies the top scoring students for the National Merit Scholarships and recognition.

“Unfortunately, many students do not take the PSAT/NMSQT seriously which is a mistake since there is millions of dollars worth of scholarships available to students who score highly on this test,” says Steve Nosek, college planner at College Planning Specialists-Illinois.

“Generally, we do not hear of many schools that prepare their students with prepatory classes to take this test even though schools often offer multiple prepatorty classes for both the ACT and SAT. We have cut the cost in half for our test prep course to reach out to students that are looking for help to qualify for scholarship money for college.”

College Planning Specialists-Illinois was opened in 2007 to help college bound students and their families by using proven methods to increase admission, become “college ready” and increase their opportunity for financial aid. Providing test prep courses are just one of the services they offer.

The PSAT prep course is offered as a 2 DVD set with 3 practice tests provided. This course was developed by Dr. Beasley with the New American School. Dr. Beasley has been providing prep courses since 1992 and has helped students increase their scores with the specific techniques that are presented in this PSATprep course. The course includes the following:

Part One: Introduction to the test and types of questions called the PSAT/ACT/SAT 101 which is on on line at

Part Two: This is the two DVD set where Dr. Beasley demonstrates the specific math, reading and writing techniques along with specific tips on completing each section of the test.

Along with the two DVD set the PSAT/NMSQT study guides for 2012, 2011 and 2010 are included. Your student can become familiar with the type of questions on the test and the answers so they can practice their new techniques.
