Geeks On Site Just Released Their First

Geeks On Site is going "green". They have released their first smart car in Columbus, OH. This car is the first of its kind for the company, and Geeks On Site plans to eventually take the smart car idea nationwide.

Online PR News – 18-March-2010 – – Geeks On Site technicians have always been going on site, hence the name, but now, they are also “going green”. On site technicians can end up spending a lot of time on the road, and more drive time means more poisonous fumes in the air, so this fall 2009 the first Geeks On Site technician in Columbus, Ohio will begin driving a Smart “Four Two” model car. Smart’s Four Two model is the most compact vehicle available for sale in the U.S and gets an average of 31 to 41 miles per gallon, according an EPA 2009 report.

This will be quite a large project considering Geeks On Site has computer repair technicians in 44 states. The Smart cars will display the Geeks On Site logo and mascot, doubling as a great advertising tool.

“This is a win-win for us and the environment,” said Geeks On Site company president and owner, George Otte. “Technology is a rapidly changing industry; therefore we are familiar with watching the latest trends in our field, so we also apply this to researching new ways of being environmentally friendly.”

Geeks On Site wants their customers to breathe easier knowing the company’s interest in getting a Smart car on the road in every city they service. The use of the Smart car also offers customers the added security of knowing when they see a Smart car pull up in front of their home or office they have a qualified Geeks On Site technician.

The greening of Geeks On Site is an on-going project, and one the company is really excited about. This is one computer repair company that helps more than their customers; they are always searching for innovative ways to help the environment too.
