Online PR News – 24-September-2012 – San Francisco, aCA – Mystery Meet, the social dining group that unites foodies in a quest to discover new restaurants, is launching its second chapter in San Francisco. Food lovers are invited to attend a dinner with friendly strangers who share their passion for fine food, but there’s a catch...they don’t find out where they’re going until 24 hours in advance.
Mystery Meet began as series of dinners in Boston two years ago. The dining experiences attract adventurous foodies of all ages. The group does not focus on dating or business networking; instead, it is an opportunity for culinary tastemakers to meet others who share their passion for great restaurants. In Boston, Mystery Meet’s dinners quickly became popular with the local food blogging community, who spread the word over social media channels. Many Mystery Meet dinners highlighted culinary trends, including food trucks, dark dining, flavor tripping and snout-to-tail pig roasts. Not long after Mystery Meet’s launch, mainstream media outlets profiled the group, including The Boston Globe, WBUR-FM, Boston.com, The New Haven Register and The Portsmouth Herald.
Mystery Meet is hosting its first San Francisco on Tuesday, October 9th. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, October 2nd. The location of the dinner won’t be revealed until 24 hours in advance, but clues are posted at http://mysterymeet.org/san-francisco.
