The dating site,, launched the newly upgraded homepage on September 16, 2012.

Online PR News – 18-September-2012 – Toronto – Everybody knows that if a site wants to keep its existing users and attract more potential users to use it, the site must upgrade itself constantly. As the first, the largest and the best online Gothic dating site for Gothic singles in the world, GothicMatch has successfully provided services for hundreds of thousands of single people to find their soul mate, but even so, the GothicMatch team never stop updating and putting forward more and better ideas to maintain the development of this dating site and make the site easier to be used by users.

On September 16, 2012, GothicMatch launched the newly upgraded page. Although this is just a little change, it is worthy. The little change is that the introduction words are placed at the bottom of the homepage. This idea is put forward by one team member -- Chris.

“Generally speaking, as a dating site, the first thing which should be displayed to visitors is those attractive and easy to understand thing. Of course, as a dating site, the most attractive and intuitive thing is picture, therefore, I think the pictures should be put at the most important place.” Chris said, “Well, the relative words are also needed, so we do not plan to delete the words, and oppositely we added some useful introduction words, but it is not so necessary to put the words on a prime location. The reason is that maybe some visitors will feel boring when they see so many words. If you try to cram a whole bunch of words on the website, guess what?” He continued, “We comply with the rule that the informative pictures can replace the boring words to give the users the information that they want. However, the relative introduction words are also retained in the secondary position to help people understand the site.”

Chris hopes that users can enjoy the new homepage, and only the people who experienced the new homepage can know that whether the new homepage was modified reasonably or not.
