Wisconsin artisan, Fen Li, participates in celebrity glamour
Online PR News – 12-September-2012 – Milwaukee, Wisonsin – Bead Flora and Jewels, a Wisconsin based company run by an independent artisan, will participate in Hollywood glamour this September for the GBK 2012 Primetime Emmys gift lounge. Fen Li, the company's owner, had her design approved to be in luxury swag bags via The Artisan Group. For this exclusive event, Li decided to create an exclusive line of beaded flower hair clips/brooches.
Li has been beading in the French technique of making flowers for over a decade. Beaded flowers in the French technique is an old world art that originated in France in the 1500’s. Its popularity resurfaced in the United States in the 1960’s. Many royals including Marie Antoinette, Napoleon's Josephine, and Princess Grace have had French beaded flowers in their possession because of their timeless beauty.
Now, this artisan has transformed this timeless art form and modernized it for the modern bride, special occasions, accessories, jewelry, and home decor.
Li enjoys teaching the art of French beaded flowers to new students and currently sells her work in local Wisconsin boutiques and also online at http://www.beadflora.com.
About Bead Flora and Jewels - Fen Li founded the company in 2008. She decided to sell her work online after making a bridal bouquet for her wedding. While selling online, she expanded her creative process and came with many innovative techniques and designs.
