It incorporates a convenient clip-slot for a lanyard and is specifically designed for personnel tagging and asset monitoring. This tag has passed Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) certifications.
This active RFID card tag, model124012, operates at 433MHz and can be mounted on a variety of items for use. The tag comes with preconfigured Customer Site Code and tag ID. Tag age can be determined by reading a counter value and battery status can be inferred from this value. The tag can also alert in the case of movement or tampering. This compact active RFID tag uses a collision avoidance algorithm to disperse the transmission around the mean repetition interval. It has an auto-wake function that will automatically "wake it up" after five minutes and transmit its pre-configured data. Additionally, the tag life is estimated at 5 years at a transmission time interval of approximately 1.5 seconds.
