Joelle O’Reilly-Hyland is excited to announce several upcoming changes and developments with Educate Girls Globally (EGG). O’Reilly-Hyland is the Board Co-Chair (along with Barbara Herz) at Educate Girls Globally.
Though Joelle O’Reilly-Hyland primarily plays a capital raising role with Educate Girls Globally, she is also interested in becoming involved in a more hands-on way. “Really, Educate Girls Globally has become so important to me that I’m interested in taking on more and more responsibilities.”
Joelle O’Reilly-Hyland is a key figure in the work of Educate Girls Globally, interfacing with the foundations and corporations that support these efforts.
A portion of the profits from Ounavarra Capital, LLC will go to O’Reilly-Hyland’s Ounavarra Foundation, a non-profit philanthropic foundation that supports a variety of social and other charitable causes. Educate Girls Globally is one of the charitable organizations that the Ounavarra Foundation supports and promotes.
"Right now," says Joelle O’Reilly-Hyland, "I’m most excited about EGG’s expansion into Africa. We’re working hard to pair up the Ounavarra Foundation with Africare in order to make the expansion as effective as possible." Africare is a well established non-profit that has been serving the continent of Africa since 1970.
"However, it isn’t just Africa that has all of us at EGG excited,” says Joelle O’Reilly-Hyland. “We’re also expanding into Pakistan and branching out in India, where we’re already established. It’s all going to take time, of course, but things are definitely in the works!"
For Joelle O’Reilly-Hyland, these developments present unique financial challenges. “It’s definitely a little bit different from the work I’ve done in the past,” comments Joelle O’Reilly-Hyland, “but I’m fully confident of our ability to secure funding for these expansions.”
