French National Agency for Radioactive Waste Management deploys b-pack to streamline their procurement and purchasing processes globally while ensuring better spend visibility.

This project is part of Andra’s effort to optimize costs and to be active in sustainable development by implementing paperless flow as opposed as before when Andra used to use paper routes.
Another main objective was to manage all types of purchases within a single platform, including their service purchases which represent the majority of their spending. Andra is now able to handle all requests and purchases directly in b-pack. With b-pack, Andra improves the visibility of their entire process, from request to invoicing, reducing processing times and operational costs.
In addition to these features, Andra manages their supplier performance within b-pack in order to have a single repository for purchases. This feature allows Andra to improve their supplier management and reduce supplier risks by evaluating vendors using scorecard.

To guarantee the success of this project, we have considered multiple tools to meet the objectives set by senior management which was to improve the performance of our internal service (requesters, approvers, management and accounting) while having:

- A tool driving visibility so everyone can see how their requests are managed.
During this project, 30 business specialists and future users were associated to adapt the product to their needs and constraints and ensure its success.
Following the main implementation, b-pack will adjust the solution to Andra’s new need such as interfacing the application with SAP in order to reduce processing time.
