Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, August 20, 2012…Olson Heating, Cooling & Appliance, LLC, an established HVAC contractor in south-central Wisconsin has announced that two of the company’s skilled technicians have been certified by the North American Technician Excellence™ (NATE) program, the industry standard for technician certification. This program has been designed to reflect a consensus of the knowledge that industry experts deem necessary for technicians to have in order to install and service HVAC equipment properly.

Stan Olson, owner, Olson Heating, Cooling & Appliance, LLC says, “While it is true that the latest, most modern heating and cooling systems are designed for the highest efficiency, the overall performance and durability depends to a large extent on the capabilities of the technician who installs and services the systems. To our customers in the Wisconsin community, it is of great benefit that we employ highly skilled and qualified technicians. It means that whether it is an installation, repair or service and maintenance requirement, home and business owners can count on having our NATE-Certified technicians on site to perform a quality job. We are very happy to announce that Mike Klar, one of our best technicians who has been with us for close to twenty years is recently recertified by NATE. Charlie Humphrey, who is currently a part-time technician doing his college internship with Olson has also received NATE certification. We congratulate them both on their achievement. I also want to take this opportunity to reinforce our commitment to customers that whether it is the products we offer or the technicians who install and service them, quality is an unchanging line with Olson Heating.”

Mike Klar is a long-term employee having been with Olson since March of 1993. Mike was originally NATE-Certified in 2007, and then again recently in 2012. He is certified on geothermal and hybrid heating and cooling systems, as well as traditional heating and air conditioning and has attended many classes to stay current in all of the latest technologies. He attended Southwest Tech in Fennimore Wisconsin prior to joining Olson. Mike lives in Stitzer, Wisconsin with his wife Janice and has four kids and 4 grandchildren, with a fifth on the way!
