Award Winning Playwright Nolbert Brown Jr to hold casting call for new record company: "The Label"

The Label is seeking artist in ALL music genres including singers, models, dancers, bands, writers and engineers on Saturday September 15th, 2012, for a chance to sign a one-year contract as the new company begins.

Bring your “A” game on Saturday September 15, 2012. Nolbert Brown Jr Entertainment Group and celebrity judges will be on hand to review artist auditioning for their chance for a one year contract signed to The Label.

Nolbert Brown Jr is best known as the “Life Story” playwright and director. He has produced over 30 stage productions, and is the recipient of: Tony, Image, Gospel, and Urban Awards for his work. Branching out into music, television and film production, he is currently working on two new projects: a film starring Millie Jackson of which Eddie Griffin has also signed on, and a stage production entitled The Sistah’s of Soul-The R&B Story which is four life stories in one show; this has Never been done before!

To be considered at the casting, artists are asked to come prepared with professional headshots, a typed bio and be dressed appropriately. Each artist will have 7 minutes on stage to show The Label why you deserve to be one of the first acts signed to be a part of this historic movement. The casting call will be held from 12pm to 10pm at Treasures Banquet Conference 5549 Germantown Avenue Philadelphia PA, 19144 (215-713-2646-office). The application fee is only $10 per person.
