TwoCan Educate – play your child to better grades
PLANO, TEXAS – A new online business is making strides to change the lives of children who are impacted most by the lack of resources available to teachers while, at the same time, building stronger family relationships. Due to strenuous budget cuts, many students do not get the attention needed to further their development in core learning skills.
Motivated by its vision to become the online leader in helping parents make a difference in their child’s education, TwoCan Educate encourages parents to use educational products and resources to enhance their children’s learning while having fun.
Its motto is “play your child to better grades.” TwoCan Educate gives families the opportunity to build strong family bonds while increasing core learning skills in Math, Reading, Science and Social Studies.
According to a Franklin, Tennessee teacher, "If the budget cuts continue, having lower test scores might be a consequence," She’s had 30 years experience in the system and has been at Grassland for 9 years.
The online business was founded by twin siblings, Bill Lomerson and Sally May, who are long time teachers and parents. Caralee Gurney joined them in the spring as a partner and Director of Marketing.
One of the resources available to parents includes parenting tips and information about products and education through the TwoCan blog, Blog With TwoCan Educate.
The company name reflects two – a parent and a child – working together to improve core learning. A parent CAN make a difference in their child’s success. Not to mention, playing games with your child is a great opportunity to spend quality time together and enjoy some giggles.
