Students at Lansdowne Sixth Form College have exceeded government targets with a record number of students achieving top GCSE grades.

Nearly all students studying English Language achieved grades A* - C and overall 85% of students that took GCSE’s gained a pass mark above C – well above the government target of 40%.
The grades for Lansdowne students studying English Language were even more impressive after hearing the news that this year’s papers were considered harshly marked.
