Online PR News – 22-August-2012 – Jacksonville, Florida – Amy Ruth, vice president of operations and chief of staff of Jacksonville-based staffing agency Incepture, will discuss flexible workplaces at a pre-conference workshop at the HR Florida Conference & Expo on Aug. 26 in Orlando.
Speaking in a panel discussion called “When Work Works,” Ruth will join other award-winning human resources professionals to discuss how to create effective and flexible workplaces to make work “work” better for both a company and its employees. Ruth and the panel will discuss their workplace initiatives and share the keys to the success that have created at their award-winning workplaces. Ruth will serve on the panel alongside Bill Jacobs, premium servicing director of Capital One, as they explore ways to fully leverage the talents of employees in a constantly changing work environment.
Workplace flexibility has become a crucial component of an effective business strategy. A recent survey from Dell and Intel finds that the business community is growing increasingly aware that an increase in workplace flexibility is associated with an increase in work productivity. Companies are now allowing employees to not only have a bigger choice in the kind of technology they use, but there are also more options for mobility, letting employees work remotely from home or another location if they so choose.
The session will be moderated by Lisa K. Horn, senior government relations advisor for the Society for Human Resources Management. Horn will introduce the workshop with a discussion of workplace flexibility and human resources leadership.
