International Bass Trombonist Kris Reeder is set to play at the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final on the 25th of August in front of 80,000 expectant Rugby fans and a global TV audience of over 30 million.
Online PR News – 17-August-2012 – London – International Bass Trombonist Kris Reeder, a dual Scholar at two of the worlds top Music Academies is set to make an appearance in front of 80,000 Rugby fans at the Challenge Cup Final on August 25th live on BBC1. Kris will play with the Brass Band at the start of proceedings before kick off.
Speaking about the event Kris said 'I am thrilled to be involved, I think it is a great advertisement for the sport and I am proud to be taking part. I think it is great to be involved with Brass Banding at this level and I hope that more people will recognise the importance of Brass Bands in this Country.'
Kris Reeder is in huge demand as a Bass Trombonist and has played with many of the top bands in the World. Kris has played at the Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall, Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow and has toured Europe extensively.
Kris has for the last 10 years been working on outreach projects to encourage children from diverse backgrounds to take up the Trombone.
