Evosys implements Mobile Supply Chain at SAMCO Successfully

15th July 2012: Evosys augments its rich implementing practice by successfully completing the Mobile Supply Chain Application implementation at Saudi Marketing Company Limited (SAMCO). The Project went live in April, 2012. SAMCO is one of the leading companies in the field of retail, trading, and importing business in Saudi Arabia. It was established in 1978 with its very first retail outlet, "Farm Superstores." Farm Superstores operates a chain of 39 supermarkets/branches concentrated in the Eastern, Western and Southern provinces of Saudi Arabia, in addition to the 13 mini markets serving prestigious and exclusive residential compounds. SAMCO wanted to accelerate its inventory cycle and was looking for a solution which will help it in carrying out transactions on wireless devices at the point of use, offering real time transaction processing, improving the data accuracy and increasing mobility and convenience. Evosys implemented Oracle MCSA accelerating the process of receiving and transferring inventory using Bar Code Scanning for data entry. This automated process resulted in reduced costs, accurate and up to date inventory information and enhanced operational productivity. With this solution, SAMCO will experience increased customer satisfaction through inventory accuracy, shipment confirmation and quality tracking.
