Three Chevrolet models earn highest ranking in segment, including the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic.
Online PR News – 02-August-2012 – Lexington, SC – Herndon Chevrolet offers all of the highly ranked Chevrolet models in J.D. Power and Associates’ Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, most notably the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic.
J.D. Power and Associates’ APEAL Study examines consumer’s responses to their new vehicles after 90 days of ownership, basing comments into eight categories: engine/transmission; ride, handling and braking; comfort/convenience; seats; cockpit/instrument panel; heating, ventilation and cooling; sound system; and styling/exterior.
The Chevrolet Sonic, offered in six trims, earns 35 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city. With its standard trim’s base MSRP of $13,865, this Chevy is one of the most affordable sub compact cars available. Its attractive design and reliable performance allowed consumers to rank the Sonic “among the best”, especially in the areas of comfort and overall performance and design.
The other Chevrolet models to win the top spot in their segments were the 2012 Volt and Avalanche in best compact car and large pickup, respectively.
Herndon Chevrolet’s inventory includes multiple trims of new and low-mileage 2012 Chevrolet Sonic cars, all of which have the same excellent quality that earned the title of J.D. Power and Associates’ best sub compact car.
