Student Designer Sana Anjum shines with her outstanding performance at the competition by world’s leading Fashion & lifestyle magazine

Online PR News – 19-July-2012 – Pune, Maharashtra – She had prepared her designs interpreting the theme “SWINGING 70s” in the most creative manner at INIFD campus Deccan during her course. The name of her winning collection was ‘The Beauty Spot’ and her inspiration was polka dots, checks and stripes.
The most promising young talent was chosen by the India’s top Fashion Journalists and Experts like Priya Tanna - Editor, VOGUE India, Anaita Shroff Adajania - Fashion Director and Bandana Tewari - Fashion Features Director.

INIFD Deccan Fashion Designing Student Sana Anjum has brought laurels to the city by her selection from over 100 top fashion colleges in India, with over 1000 registrations. Other Design institutes who participated in this National Design Competition were NIFT, Pearl academy of Fashion, Raffles Design Institute, Symbiosis Institute of Design Pune and more.

Sana Anjum will be awarded a Cash Prize of Rs 10,000, winning certificate, free magazine subscription for 1 year, work & profile display at Vogue website & also on Vogue honours official Facebook Page. She will get invitation to feature her designs at the Vogue Fashion Night out 2012 at DLF, Emporio, New Delhi along with the likes of Fashion biggies & Top Designers from India & Across the globe. Winners have been published in Vogue India magazine in June issue.

He said, “Sana has made the entire city proud by her excellent presentation and innovation that stood out through her designs submitted for the National Design competition. 10 INIFD Students have been selected by ‘VOGUE’ which is more than any other design institute. Last Year too, Vogue honours Design Competition witnessed maximum winners from INIFD. While 4 design institutes – NIFT, Pearl academy of Fashion, Raffles Design Institute, Symbiosis Institute of Design Pune together had only 7 winners and INIFD alone had 8 winners selected by world’s leading Fashion & Lifestyle magazine VOGUE as ‘Most Creative and Talented’.
