Lincoln of Troy Sponsors Hole-in-One Contest at Beaumont Children’s Miracle Classic

The 23rd annual Beaumont Children’s Miracle Classic took place at the Birmingham Country Club on July 9. Local dealership Lincoln of Troy was a proud sponsor.

Online PR News – 14-July-2012 – Troy, MI – Dealing with an illness as a child is rough. To that end, the Beaumont Children’s Classic was held for another year at the Birmingham Country Club on July 9 and Lincoln of Troy provided their support as part of their fair way of doing business.

The 2012 edition of the charity golf tournament was the 23rd time that the event has been conducted. All of the funds raised via donation are given to the Beaumont Children’s Hospitals in locations like Troy, Grosse Pointe and Royal Oak.

Participants in the outing on the links enjoyed special prizes, raffles and a special dinner in addition to their round of golf. As is tradition, Lincoln of Troy sponsored a special prize for the first person to hit a hole-in-one on the Par 3 fifteenth hole.

Since its inaugural occurrence, the Beaumont Children’s Miracle Classic has resulted in over $1.5 million for the Beaumont Children’s Hospital and the Beaumont Foundation. Established in 1986, the Beaumont Foundation raises money to assist with the purchase of new equipment and the construction of additional facilities. Funds generated by the foundation also benefit the families of seriously ill children who cannot afford care.
