Arthouse Exits The Venture With Its Catalog Available For Worldwide Administration, And Is In Discussions Regarding A Possible Catalog Sale and New Financing Partner
Online PR News – 29-June-2012 – Los Angeles, CA – Fresh off 7 radio airplay awards including song of the year at the 2012 ASCAP Pop Music Awards, and the 2012 BMI Pop Music Awards, Kara DioGuardi and Stephen Finfer's Arthouse Entertainment venture with Bug Music/BMG/Chrysalis comes to an end. Arthouse exits the venture with its catalog available for worldwide administration, and is in discussions regarding a possible catalog sale and new financing partner. 2011 was the most successful period of Arthouse's four-year venture with Bug Music, with Arthouse owning the #1, 2 and 10 best selling downloads worldwide. And their roster of writers and artists continue to keep them at the top of the charts.
"When we started our relationship with Bug, I never thought we'd be able to put together such a formidable catalog and writer team in such a short time," noted Kara DioGuardi, hit songwriter and co-founder of Arthouse Entertainment. "I am proud that we have been able to create the kind of environment, and add the kind of value, that has allowed our writers to reach their potential."
"I'm proud of our record of starting two music publishing companies in ten years that have achieved undeniable commercial and financial success. The hits compiled in this catalog over the last four years have the ability to endure and be part of the cultural psyche forever; these are not your typical hit copyrights," remarked Stephen Finfer, co-founder of Arthouse Entertainment. "With our song pipeline, and writer and artist roster, we remain prepared to cultivate, create and exploit new hit copyrights on par with the major music publishers for the foreseeable future."
John Rudolph of Music Analytics, Inc./Siemer & Associates and Jaimison Roberts of Roberts & Hafitz pllc are advising Ms. DioGuardi and Mr. Finfer.
