Citrus Digital Supports Cornwall Air Ambulance

Copier Donation Helps Local Charity

Online PR News – 26-June-2012 – Cornwall UK – When Citrus Digital heard that the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust needed a photocopier, they offered to help by providing the equipment and expertise free of charge.

The Trust needed to be able to print A3 and A4 in colour whilst keeping costs to a minimum. The current desktop printers were expensive to maintain, so Citrus Digital donated a high quality Canon 26 page per minute multifunctional device worth over £3000.

Paula Martin of The Trust commented, "The estimated savings will be in the region of £2500 per year in printing costs, which is money that can now be used for other vital expenses such as maintaining the aircraft and flying emergency missions”.

The equipment was installed by one of Citrus Digitals' experienced engineers, Richard Benney who lives locally. Richard also installed a Raster Image Processor which enhances the quality of print output by using an additional computer to render graphics.

Kevin Roberts, Regional Manager for Citrus Digital in Cornwall was on hand to help with the installation. "We are delighted to be able to help such a worthy cause as the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust. The helicopter crew and support staff do a fantastic job here and across the county and have undoubtedly saved many hundreds of lives."
