JU School of Orthodontics Gives Fifth Set of FREE Braces to Jacksonville Tween

To educate the public on the benefits of a healthy smile, JU School of Orthodontics awards $18,000 worth of orthodontics products and services to free braces winners in 2009.

Online PR News – 02-March-2010 – Jacksonville, FL – JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics awarded its fifth set of free braces to Leslie Cross of Jacksonville, Florida as part of its 2009 Smiles Sweepstakes campaign. Cross used her prize for the intended recipient, her eleven-year-old daughter Lisa, who was screened at the facility in early December.

The JU School of Orthodontics pledged a total of six sets of free braces in 2009 as part of their orthodontic awareness promotional campaign, amounting to a total of $18,000 worth of orthodontics products and services. Each winner receives a certificate for a free set of braces, including a full comprehensive course of orthodontic care, valued at $3,000. The contest ends December 31, 2009, with December’s winner being announced in early January 2010.

“As a premier educational facility, we feel part of our role is to educate people about the benefits of a healthy smile,” said Dr. Laurence Jerrold, dean of the School. “What better way to focus the public’s attention on orthodontic health than by giving them a chance to enhance their smiles for free with free braces? This campaign allows our school to give back to the community and raise awareness.”
