The National Hispana Leadership Institute Receives $50,000 Grant From The UPS Foundation

The National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) received a $50,000 fran nt from The UPS Foundation. The grant will be used to support NHLI’s Executive Leadership Program for executive and mid-career Latinas and the Latinas Learning to Lead Program for college-age Latinas.

Online PR News – 27-June-2012 – Washington, D.C. – The National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) received a $50,000 grant from The UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of United Parcel Service, UPS (NYSE:UPS). The grant will be used to support NHLI’s Executive Leadership Program for executive and mid-career Latinas and the Latinas Learning to Lead Program for college-age Latinas.

The National Hispana Leadership Institute focuses on developing ethical leaders through training, professional development, relationship building and community activism. “We are extremely grateful for the continued support and generosity that The UPS Foundation has shown us,” said Barbara J. DesMarteau, Acting President of NHLI. “With their support we will be able to continue to provide leadership training opportunities, through an emphasis on personal strengths and networking.”
