According to Rtn. C.J. Singh, District Public Image Coordinator, the candidates can apply to their nearest Rotary Club on or before 1st July, whereafter a local level interview would be conducted and sent to the District GSE selection committee for final interview.

Rotary District 3080 invites applications from eligible young professionals in the age group of 25-40 years for the Rotary Foundation’s Group Study Exchange (GSE) programme.

The 4-member team from Rotary District 3080 would be visiting Florida, in USA in October 2012, which gives them unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity.

According to Rtn. C.J. Singh, District Public Image Coordinator, the candidates can apply to their nearest Rotary Club on or before 1st July, whereafter a local level interview would be conducted and sent to the District GSE selection committee for final interview.

The program provides travel grants for teams for four to six weeks of experiencing the culture and institutions as well as professional practices in the host country.

In a typical four-week tour, the team members, who are also called the “ambassadors of goodwill” get opportunity for at least five full days of vocational visits, 15 to 20 presentations to Rotary clubs, and 10 to 15 formal visits and social events, cultural and site tours, and free time with their host families.

Founded in Chicago on February 23, 1905, today over 1.2 million members belong to 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas.
