Most PI miCos linear positioners are available in clean-room versions and high vacuum compatible. Customers can choose between stepper motors, rotary servo-motors and linear servo motor-drives. Closed loop linear positioning stages are offered with optical high-resolution position feedback. In addition to single axis precision linear positioners, the PI miCos also offers motorized XY-positioning stages, precision Z-Elevation stage positioning systems and precision rotary stages.

Over 20 linear positioner product families are available starting with precision miniature linear stages and positioning ranges of 40 mm to high load, high-precision linear stages for long travel ranges to 1 meter. These motorized high-accuracy positioners come in a large variety of standard and custom versions, from open loop translation stages with stepper motors and, lead-screw drives to high-speed and high precision, models with linear optical encoders featuring resolutions to 1 nanometers.
