New administrator post available at IRIE! dance theatre.
Online PR News – 20-June-2012 – London, England – IRIE! dance theatre is offering interested individuals the opportunity to apply for a new administrator post that is being funded by Deptford Challenge Trust.
The new post is that of Moonshot Centre Adminstrator and the successful candidate will provide full administrative support for the Moonshot Centre Mentoring Scheme for a period of six (6) months.
This scheme is designed to develop the necessary infrastructure and procedures for the management of the Moonshot Centre, IRIE!'s base in New Cross, London. Senior staff from the nearby venue, The Albany, will carry out the training program. The Albany is a performing arts venue based in the heart of Deptford and was home to IRIE! dance theatre before the company relocated to Moonshot Centre in 2007.
IRIE! dance theatre working in partnership with The Albany aim to develop Moonshot Centre into a vibrant community facility that will provide educational and cultural activities such as African and Caribbean dance and music that will benefit the whole community. By providing these types of activities and opportunities the partnership of IRIE! dance theatre and The Albany aim to re-establish the role of the Moonshot Centre as centre of the community.
Beverley Glean, the founder and Artistic Director of IRIE! dance theatre, said:
