Anil Saini said that the rights of backward classes are being suppressed and despite repeated representations by OBC Ekta Manch, no action has been taken by the government.

Online PR News – 11-June-2012 – Chandigarh – Chandigarh, 8 June: Thousands of people of Other Backward Classes (OBC) would hold a proest march against continued discrimination against them on 12th June at Rohtak.
According to a press release issued by Anil Saini, State President of Pichhada Varg Ekta Manch of Haryana, the rally would march to the local residence of the Chief Minister of Haryana, and present a Memorandum.
Anil Saini said that the rights of backward classes are being suppressed and despite repeated representations by OBC Ekta Manch, no action has been taken by the government.
Though the Mandal Commission has recommended 27 percent reservation for the backward classes which has been implemented all over the country, the state government of Haryana continues to ignore it and only 10 percent reservation is available in Haryana Public Service Commission appointments.
Forty two percent of Haryana’s population falls in backward class category which has been denied social, political and economic development, with every political party making false promises and once in power, continues to exploit them, Anil Saini said.
State President of OBC Ekta Manch said that the state government has not taken any action to uplift the downtrodden and have not contributed to their welfare, and would have to ultimately pay the price in the next elections.
