The highest salary offered was Rs. 10.04 lakh per annum to the batch of 120 students. A total of 50 companies visited the campus and rolled out over 100 offers.

Finance and consulting were the major sectors from which the students got their job offers from. The prominent companies which recruited included Infosys, Crisil, Deloitte, Citibank, Darashaw, E-Clerx and Cheers Interactive. The roles offered by them included business analyst, business development, asset management, corporate investment banking and insurance.
According to SIIB, the marketing students had the most sought after profiles with companies offering them diverse opportunities in the areas of sales, branding, and marketing functions. Companies like Tata Chemicals, Welspun, Asian Paints, ACG Worldwide, VIP Industries, Henkel, Godrej & Boyce and Vinculum were among the major recruiters. Regular recruiters like Danfoss, HDFC, HDFC Life, State Trading Corporation and Union bank also recruited students in prestigious roles. The highest salary offered to the students of Marketing specialization was Rs. 10.04 lakh and the average salary was Rs. 7.28 lakh.
94 per cent of the Agri Business students were placed in companies like Monsanto, Devgen, Bisleri and L&T Finance. SIIB states, “Banks offered the students opportunities to serve in the rural sector. IDBI and Axis Bank picked up students and vindicated the fact that Agriculture is the backbone of the country.” Mahindra and Mahindra was also among the top recruiters Mars international and Almarai were the new entrants in the SIIB placements. The highest package in the Agri business was Rs. 9.6 lakh per annum and the average salary was Rs. 6 lakh.
The insurance sector saw a great surge in the wake of employment, and companies like SBI Life visited the campus for placements
Energy & Environment
The students of this sector were recruited by companies like Wipro Eco Energy, Danfoss, Aqua Tech Solutions Cheers Interactive and FICCI. The highest salary offered was Rs. 8 lakh per annum and the average salary was Rs. 6.25 lakh.
