DVDFab Qt Allows Multiple Burning Engine Options

Fengtao Software released another new official version for Windows operating system, Qt of its all-in-one shareware package.

It had been more than one month since its last official update. It fixed a bug to allow using more burning engine options. Here is the news in detail.

DVDFab Qt released on May 24
Fengtao Software, on May 24, released this newest official version of all-in-one software package for multimedia solutions, for both Windows operating system and Mac OS X. This newest Windows version Qt came out supporting more audio channel options while converting videos for iPad and, with many other important fixes.

On the fixed items list, the first thing to mention was a burning engine problem, which stated that DVDFab burning engine couldn’t be used if any DVDFab option was expired. The new version fixed this problem. DVDFab offers four options for burning engines, users can feel free to choose their favorite ones at Common Settings->DVD/Blu-ray->Write.

Next, in DVD Copy software, a wrong warning dialog which Gold lifetime users experienced in the previous official version was gone. Note that Gold lifetime users refer to those who brought lifetime edition of DVDFab Gold, a very old version in DVDFab early history. The new equivalence of this Gold version is DVDFab DVD Copy, but with just four copy modes: Full Disc, Main Movie, Split and Write Data.

Furthermore, in its DVD Ripper section, developers cured a small issue that “No choice of 5.1 multi-channels when using iPad.h264.multichannel profile”. This option may help iPad users upgrade their audio experiences to a higher level. Also, a crash problem when clicking "Conversion Settings" button in "Task Queue" window in certain cases was terminated.

Other important new features and fixes: in Blu-ray Copy option, additional supports to a new BD+ and Java-based protection were added, a black screen playback problem when copying "Full Disc" was eliminated and a disc opening problem that some special discs and certain BDAV disc could not be opened was corrected; in Blu-ray Ripper, Blu-ray 3D Ripper and Blu-ray to DVD converter options, a special support was added that forced subtitle information shall be shown if detected when converting; in Video Converter section, three small issues were gone: a 502.12.7 problem when converting with “avi.xvid.audiocopy” profiles, a 504.00.12 problem when converting with most of MKV and MP4 profile and, a freeze problem when converting with “audio.copy” profiles.
