Lick Library Announce new range of Guitar Lessons.
Online PR News – 25-February-2010 – – One of the world’s leading creators of Guitar DVDs, Lick Library, has launched 2 new DVDs – Jam with AC DC Volume 2 and Learn to Play Angus Young The Solos. The DVDs add to the existing Learn to Play AC DC Volumes 1, 2 and 3, together with Jam with AC DC Volume 1 and Quick Licks for Guitar – Angus Young.
AC DC remain one of the most influential bands in rock history. Their 1980 album Back in Black is famous for being the second biggest selling album of all time, and as recently as 2008 they struck gold with their album Black Ice – which hit the number one spot in 29 countries.
Lick Library appreciates the importance of the group and the desire for those learning to play guitar to learn from them – particularly lead guitarist Angus Young, who won the 2006 Kerrang! Legend Award.
The two new DVDS are taught by Danny Gill – a former pupil of Joe Satriani who co-authored Musicians Institute’s Rock Lead Guitar series. The new videos utilise Lick Library’s innovative split screen method, enabling the learner to see what both hands are doing.
The firm started out after a chance meeting between Stuart Bull and Kim Waller. After watching Stuart perform in a bar in 1990, Kim asked Stuart to create a blues backing track. The result inspired the idea of creating full band backing tracks designed to help people improve their musical skills. The company started out as Total Accuracy before becoming Lick Library – one of the most trusted places to find tuition DVDs for drums, bass and of course guitar.
